How to Register
- Go to the CAPLE registration page: caple.letras.ulisboa.pt/inscricao
- Find available exam sessions and dates
- Select your preferred center and date
- Fill in registration with personal details
- Upload ID (passport, residence permit, or citizen card)
- Pay the registration fee (€75-95)
- Payment must be completed at least 24 hours before exam
- In Portugal: pay by Multibanco, MBWay, or bank transfer
What to Bring on Exam Day
- Valid ID (same one used to register)
- Confirmation email (printed or on phone)
- A pen (blue or black ink)
- Water bottle
- Arrive 30 minutes early
How Long Until Results?
Results: approximately 6-7 weeks after the exam. Certificate: another month after results. Total from exam to certificate in hand: 2-3 months. Plan this into your citizenship application timeline.
