Speaking has the extra trap of variety: European Portuguese sounds genuinely different from Brazilian — vowel reduction, rhythm, register. If nobody ever hears your Portuguese, "it feels fine" is not evidence.

What AI feedback does not replace
Honesty section. AI feedback is fast and specific, but it is not a human examiner: it may miss that a grammatically correct sentence sounds unnatural to a Portuguese ear, and it cannot simulate the paired dynamics of the real speaking test — you and another candidate, two examiners in the room. My standing advice does not change: book one or two tutor sessions near the end to rehearse the paired format. Use AI for the daily loop, humans for the dress rehearsal.
