What is CIPLE Ready?

CIPLE Ready is a self-paced online preparation platform for the CIPLE exam — the A2-level European Portuguese certification from CAPLE (University of Lisbon) that most people need for Portuguese citizenship or permanent residency. It is built around the official exam format, not a general Portuguese course.

• Grammar — 2000 exercises across 20 modules, each with rules, examples and three difficulty levels.
• Vocabulary — 876 exam-relevant words in 21 themed sets with European Portuguese audio and five practice modes.
• Reading — 32 comprehension texts, including advanced texts in real exam task formats.
• Listening — 19 exercises with European Portuguese audio and full transcripts.
• Writing — 18 tasks with AI feedback that grades like a CIPLE examiner.
• Speaking — 20 prompts you answer by voice, with AI transcription and evaluation, plus 10 paired-interaction scenarios.
• Mock exams — 10 full simulations matching the official structure and timing.
• Progress tracking — a readiness score, XP levels, streaks and 12 achievement badges.

The interface is available in English, Russian and Chinese — all exercise content stays in European Portuguese, and AI feedback explains mistakes in both Portuguese and your chosen language.

Who it's for

Expats and immigrants in Portugal who already have basic Portuguese (roughly A1–A2) and need to pass CIPLE. It is not designed for complete beginners — the fastest way to check your level is the free 5-minute mock CIPLE quiz or the free vocabulary test.

Built by someone who sat the exam

The founder, Yana, took the real CIPLE A2 in April 2026 after preparing on the platform and passed with the classification Bom. The real exam turned out harder than the early practice materials — so every mock exam was rebuilt to match the real difficulty (see What's New).
