Tutorial: Getting AI feedback on your writing

Writing carries serious weight on the real exam, and it's the section you can't grade yourself. Here's a full pass through one task, the way that makes feedback stick.

   Open a writing task

   Go to Writing and open task 1 (free) or any unlocked task. Read the prompt carefully — note the required word count band (25–35 or 60–80 words) and every point the task asks you to cover.

   Write without helpers

   Draft your answer in the editor — no translator, no dictionary, and keep the model answer closed. The live word counter shows when you're inside the range. On the real exam, missing the range or skipping a required point costs marks.

   Check with AI

   Tap Check with AI. In a few seconds you get an examiner-style score out of 10, your word count, each grammar error as original → corrected with the rule explained, vocabulary notes, and whether you actually completed the task.

4. 4

   Read the errors, then rewrite

   Don't stop at reading the corrections — rewrite the answer applying them, and check once more. One rewrite is worth three new tasks.

   Compare with the model answer

   Now open the model answer. Compare structure and phrasing — steal the useful patterns. Every check you ran is already saved (and the first one earned 20 XP); all your attempts and feedback stay browsable on the task page.
