The CIPLE exam, in plain language.
CIPLE (Certificado Inicial de Português Língua Estrangeira) is the A2-level Portuguese exam set by CAPLE at the University of Lisbon, accredited by ALTE — the same body that accredits the Goethe-Institut and Cambridge English exams. It's required for Portuguese citizenship and permanent residency.
