Vocabulary: 876 words, flashcards & context practice

The vocabulary section covers 876 exam-relevant words in 21 themed sets — essential verbs, family, daily routine, food, directions, transport, home, weather, shopping, professions, health, and more. Each set has five practice tabs:

• Cards — classic flashcards. Mark each word as known or unknown; unknown words go to your review pile.
• PT→EN quiz — recognize the Portuguese word.
• EN→PT quiz — produce the Portuguese word (the direction the writing and speaking sections need).
• Contexto — fill-the-gap sentences built from real examples. Choose your difficulty and answer by picking an option or typing the word — typed answers tolerate accents and small ending differences.
• Review — spaced repetition over the words you've marked unknown or missed. A word you know comes back in 1, 3, 7, 14, 30 and then 60 days; miss it and it returns to today; pass it at 60 days and it leaves the pile. Due words are counted per set and across all sets on the dashboard, and Word review runs through every due word in one go.

A set counts as completed on the dashboard once you finish flashcards, PT→EN and EN→PT. Each completed mode awards 10 XP.

Audio pronunciation

Tap the speaker icon on any word to hear it in a European Portuguese voice. Audio is generated on demand, with a generous limit of 1000 pronunciations per day.

Tracking your vocabulary

The progress page shows per-set completion for each mode, your context-practice accuracy, average answer time, most-missed words, and the size of your review pile.
