Writing tasks & AI feedback
5 min read Updated 2026-09-01
Writing is the section where self-study usually stalls — you can't grade your own Portuguese. CIPLE Ready has 18 writing tasks (tasks 13–18 are ⭐ Advanced) in the exam's two formats: a short 25–35 word message and a longer 60–80 word email or text. A live word counter shows when you're inside the required range.
One button: Check with AI
- Check with AI sends your text to an AI grader prompted as a CIPLE A2 examiner, saves the attempt and marks the task complete (20 XP the first time).
- Rewrite and check again as often as you like — every check is saved as a new attempt, so you can see the score climb.
- If the AI is unavailable (for example the daily limit is reached), a Submit without AI check button appears so you can still save the attempt and get the XP.
What the AI feedback contains
- A score out of 10 and your actual word count.
- Every grammar error as original → corrected, with the rule explained in Portuguese and in your interface language.
- Vocabulary notes and an assessment of whether you actually completed the task (a big scoring factor on the real exam).
Each task also has a model answer behind a show/hide toggle, and all your past attempts with their full feedback stay browsable on the task page.
Write first, peek later. Doing the task before opening the model answer is what makes the feedback stick — then rewrite once more applying the corrections.
Fair-use limit: 50 AI writing checks per day. Free accounts get task 1 including AI feedback; Full Access unlocks all 18 tasks. See the step-by-step walkthrough.
